LOVELY.
Thanks to our new friends, Audrey and Sasha, my gorgeous son and i managed to get two seats at Chef's counter, right in front of Aiko, a Japanese chef with whom we could speak Japanese and have fun.
Service: 5/5. Delightful, attentive.
Food: 5.5. Delicious, flavorful. Fun, different, interesting, yet totally respecting the ingredients. Another delicious monk fish. My son and i tried many dishes. We were happy with everything.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Merci Y'all. -

I dont like fusion first off but what would other wise be American junk food with a french twist finished off with that special Japanese touch that only they can do? Amazing! The dishes are well thought out - oreo foie gras!?! I dont even like foie gras and i loved this! - and flavors that work well together. The fish with the cilantro topping was unbelievable and if you can get a seat at the bar, do it! You get to watch the chef in action but warning, it makes you want to try everything on the menu. Highly recommend!

Formerly Noglu Marais , Oishibori, Gyoza Bar, this new rock n' roll Upper Marais bistro is the coolest table of la rentrée. Owned by Guillaume Guedj of the two Michelin star Passage 53 and helmed by Tsuyoshi Miyazaki, former second of before mentioned P53, this dark den features worldly and French comfort food (ceviches, "Oreo cookie" foie gras, squid taco, burgers etc) , mescal and bourbon based cocktails and high end natural wines. The vibe is very 90's curated hip hop, and the service is friendly as f**k. Go now before it's impossible to get in...
